DFI UK wins big at dairy awards
Dairygold Food Ingredients UK (DFI UK) is celebrating after receiving numerous industry accolades at the British Cheese Awards, Nantwich International Cheese Awards, and the Great Yorkshire Show.
The company was recognised for the quality and flavour of its cheeses, scooping a total of 11 awards across its hard and soft cheese products, including:
British Cheese Awards
- Gold – Lactic – Cow, Goat, Sheep or Buffalo – American Style Soft Cheese
- Gold – Cheddar – Mature Block
- Winner – Main Category Award – American Style Soft Cheese
- Silver – Hard-Cow – Irish Emmental
Nantwich International Cheese Awards
- Gold (3) – American Style Soft Cheese, Irish White Extra Mature Cheddar, and Imokilly Full Fat Soft Cheese
- Silver – Irish White Mature Cheddar
- Bronze (4) – Medium Fat Soft Cheese, Irish White Extra Mature Cheddar (2), and West Country Farmhouse Cheddar
Great Yorkshire Show
- Gold – Soured Cream
- Silver – American Style Soft Cheese
- Bronze – ‘Newly launched’ category – Irish Emmental
