Kraft management shuffle

USA – International food firm Kraft has appointed four senior managers at its North American business this week.

Kraft claims that the changes will strengthen its business in the region, and benefit its entire staff.

Thomas Sampson has been named executive vice president and president of food service for Kraft Foods North America. He is currently vice president of category sales management and strategy for Kraft Foods North America.

Sampson takes over from current food service executive vice president and president Steven Rudnitsky, who is leaving to join travel, property and transport firm Cendant.

Tony Berger has been appointed general manager and vice president of sales for food service. He is currently vice president of sales for Kraft’s food service department.

Also at Kraft this week, Marla Gottschalk takes on the new position of senior vice president for financial planning and investor relations.

Reporting to Gottschalk will be Maria Sceppaquercio, the new vice president of investor relations. Formerly, Screppaguercio was vice president of investor relations with food group Nabisco.
