Biotiful Dairy launches Strawberry Kefir variant

Biotiful Dairy is lauching brand new flavour Strawberry Kefir in 250ml and 500ml formats. The new variant complements the brand’s existing range of cultured milk drinks and snacks and is set to capitalise on strawberry’s position as the top flavour in dairy.

With a 186% YoY growth in kefir, Biotiful remains category leader, driving almost 60% category growth with its increasingly diverse product range. The launch sees Biotiful pursue its ambition to drive mass appeal for kefir and bring new consumers into the category, with the brand expecting the strawberry SKUs to become some of their top-selling products.

Kefir is a way for consumers to upgrade their dairy intake, whether enjoyed for breakfast, as a snack on the go or as a healthy but tasty addition to lunch. Not just naturally nutritious and packed full of billions of gut-friendly bacteria, the new launch delivers the summery sweetness of strawberries, with absolutely no sugar added.

Available in 250ml (MRRP: £1.45) and 500ml (MRRP: £2.25) formats, each bottle of Biotiful’s new Strawberry Kefir is:

  • Naturally packed with billions of diverse gut-friendly bacteria

  • Source of protein – 7.3g per portion

  • Full of essential vitamins and minerals (including vitamins B2 and B12, calcium and phosphorus)

  • Free from any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives

  • Made with the best quality British milk, authentic live cultures, real fruit and with no sugar added

Biotiful Dairy founder Natasha Bowes said: “As the category leader in kefir, we know that consumers across the UK enjoy Biotiful’s products for their great taste as well as the unmatched natural benefits they bring. Strawberries are traditionally associated with the summer months so this new SKU makes a timely debut, and provides consumers with another delicious way to enjoy all the goodness of kefir.”

Biotiful Dairy’s Strawberry Kefir will be available via Sainsbury’s from late June and Ocado from July.
