Nordic Dairy Congress programme announced

The Nordic Dairy Congress 2020 will be held 27-29 May at Hotel Clarion Malmö Live in Malmö, Sweden. “Dairy opportunities of tomorrow” is the theme of the congress and the common thread throughout the programme is a relevant selection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Delivering on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and fixing the climate crisis is the center of attention around the world and the debate is challenging the dairy industry to perform even better. However, the dairy sector remains part of the solution if we are to feed a growing world population – making sure that people around the world get the valuable and essential nutrients that dairy products and dairy ingredients provide.
With more than 40 speakers, the programme will guarantee a lot of leanings and take-aways from the two and a half days of conference. The programme consists of half a day visit to Tetra Pak’s site in Lund followed by two days of conference with a number of keynote presentations, a panel debate between business profiles from the dairy industry, organisations as well as the supplier industry. Last but not least almost 30 presentations within six subthemes will fill the programme with cases, studies and new knowledge, that will inspire to new opportunities of tomorrow for the dairy industry, the organisers say.
The Nordic Dairy Congress 2020 will be the 45th dairy congresses organised in the cooperation between dairy organizations the Nordic countries. In 2020 the organisers celebrate the 100-years anniversary and to underline and expand the international approach, the UK, represented by Society of Dairy Technology, has joined in the co-operation.
