The American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) has announced that registration is open for the ADSA 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting, which will take place from 22-24 June 2020. The decision to transition to a virtual event was made after consideration by the ADSA Board of Directors in light of the evolving Covid-19 pandemic.

The ADSA Virtual Annual Meeting, the premier global dairy science meeting, will debut on Monday 22 June and will showcase more than 100 hours of programming delivered through 900 scientific presentations, panel discussions with live Q&A, live roundtable discussions, exhibit and sponsor halls, solutions centre, and undergraduate and graduate student activities and competitions. Subject matter will cover areas from the farm to the table and most points between. Specific topic areas include animal behaviour and well-being; animal health; breeding and genetics; dairy foods; forages and pastures; growth and development; lactation biology; milk protein and enzymes; physiology and endocrinology; production, management, and the environment; ruminant nutrition; and small ruminants. The ADSA says it will facilitate focused, meaningful, and interesting discussions about the latest dairy science and its applications.

The ADSA Virtual Annual Meeting website will be kept up to date as the programme takes shape.
