Allgäu Milchkäse CEO stays on

As the April general assembly of Allgäu Milchkäse was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, CEO Hermann Breher has stayed longer in office.

The extra time has met with his approval. “I am very happy to be able to continue going through this time together with the cooperative,” said Breher. His voluntary work in the co-operative dairy now spans 40 years, including 14 years as chairman of the board of Allgäu Milchkäse.

Breher reportedly feels very comfortable in the extension of the honorary position. After such a long time, it is not difficult for him to remain in office for a few more months, he notes. The general assembly is currently scheduled for autumn, at which Breher will finally hand over his post and retire.
