Dairy Innovation Summit goes virtual

In light of recent developments around Covid-19, Arena International has decided to make its Dairy Innovation Summit a virtual experience. There will be two full days over 13-14 October of insights focusing on the adaptation of the innovation process to develop profitable products ready for the future dairy consumer, the events company says.
The event, split into two streams, will allow participants to delve into topics affecting the dairy sector such as sustainability, technological developments, product and marketing positioning strategies, regulatory and nutritional developments and product innovation and emerging trends such as plant based products. Speakers include Jørgen Hald Christensen, CEO of the Danish Dairy Board, and Laura DE John, technical innovation lead at Fonterra.
This virtual conference will address the new direction of the dairy industry and will highlight key considerations on how to develop new and innovative products that will allow for larger margins of profitability and ensure scalability long-term. The agenda focuses on factors that drive new consumer demands and highlight opportunity in the market such as health and wellness, premiumisation, functionality, dietary needs and growing demands for more natural ingredients and core sustainability values.
