Danone sells off Yakult stake

French dairy giant Danone is selling the rest of its stake in Japan’s Yakult Honsha, having sold the rest of its holding in the probiotic drinks maker two years ago, according to Bloomberg News.

The remaining 6.61% stake is worth about ¥60 billion (€477 million), and the company had used the previous sale of holdings to reduce its debt ratio and for investments. The firms will continue their joint partnerships in India and Vietnam.
