New headquarters for DMK in Germany

The DMK Group has selected a new location for its headquarters, with around 700 administrative employees from Germany’s largest dairy co-operative being moved in 2023. The new location is in the immediate vicinity of the old building in Flughafenallee, and the building in Bremen’s Airport City is intended to offer ideal conditions for contemporary forms of co-operation and the use of new building technologies, the company says.

The world of work is becoming more and more flexible and cooperative, the company notes.

“New work also requires the right spatial framework,” says Ines Krummacker, head of human resources at Deutsches Milchkontor (DMK). “In addition to the working conditions for our employees, the cost-effectiveness of the building and the location were decisive.”

DMK will move into the new building as a long-term tenant. The room layout in the new building will be more flexible, with the offices becoming an anchor point for infrastructure, exchange and social contacts.

Efficient building technology will lead to a permanent reduction in operating costs and protect the environment. The sustainable building concept with state-of-the-art building technology includes, among other things, a combined heat and power plant, green roof and a photovoltaic system.
