Bauer Group realigns management
The Bauer Group has realigned its management, with Florian Bauer and Markus Bauer changing to chairmen of the newly created supervisory board, while Heiko Modell is taking over the overall management of the Bauer Group as CEO. Florian Kellner and Michael Janker were also appointed to management.
As chairmen of the newly established supervisory board, Florian and Markus Bauer will continue to closely follow and actively shape the group’s fate. The new committee will advise the group management and set strategic cornerstones in the process. The long-term orientation of the Bauer Group is particularly important to the brothers, the company says.
This goal will hopefully be achieved through targeted innovations, new technologies and selected collaborations with other companies.
Modell has already been part of the management team for the past three years. He wants to lead the company into new growth areas and, for example, establish a plant-based product range alongside the classic dairy business.
