French dairy giant Danone has named Antoine de Saint-Affrique as CEO at its recent board meeting, to take over as of 15 September.
He was previously with chocolate maker Barry Callebaut as its chief executive, according to Reuters news agency, and has improved its returns over the last several years to stakeholders. Prior to that, he was at Unilever for 15 years, rising to president of the foods division.
He replaces Emmaneul Faber, who was ousted by shareholders in March.
