Austrian dairy Tirol Milch is expanding the distribution of its whey/fruit drink Lattella.
Last year in Austria annual per capita consumption of Lattella reached 1.5 litres and the product enjoyed 90% recognition among consumers. Test sales have now begun in the German market.
The fat-free Lattella range includes mango, maracuja, and a plain sugar-free multi-vitamin probiotic variation. Planned packaging for Germany features quarter and half litre cartons with screw tops.
Tirol Milch is offering free samples to all members of the trade who fax or e-mail the company’s headquarters.
