United Dominion to buy APV Ice Cream

US-based United Dominion Industries has signed a letter of intent to purchase APV Ice Cream. Terms of the agreement have not yet been disclosed.
APV Ice Cream produces ice cream freezers and fillers, ingredient feeders, and handling and wrapping systems. It will become part of United Dominion’s Waukesha Cherry-Burrell operation, which also incorporates the recently acquired PMS and Alliance.
Some 48% of APV Ice Cream’s sales are in the US, with 40% in Europe. European operations are in Aarhus, Denmark, the US business operates from Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
