Hochdorf sells land in Switzerland

In Switzerland, the board of directors of Hochdorf Holding AG and the board of trustees of the Hochdorf Pensionskasse have decided to sell land and buildings for a total of CHF60.2 million (€58 million) to the municipality of Hochdorf.

The transaction will positively influence the annual result of the Swiss dairy group and now the EBIT of the Hochdorf Group is expected reach the amount of CHF7 to 12 million (€6.7-11.6m).

For properties and buildings of the Hochdorf Group, a purchase price of CHF50.2 million (€48.4m) was agreed. The area of Hochdorf Pensionskasse changes owner for just under CHF10 million (€9.6m).

At the same time, the Hochdorf Group has signed a four-year lease, with the annual rental price at CHF3 million (€2.9m). The sales are being largely used for debt reduction at the Hochdorf Group.
