Hochland condemns Ukraine invasion

The German dairy group Hochland condemns Putin’s war against the people of Ukraine. It is attempting to send a signal to the Russians by imposing an advertising and investment freeze in Russia. The Hochland Group operates three plants in Russia with a total of 1,600 employees.
The dairy says that it shares the view of the German government that the necessary international sanctions should hit those responsible for this war hard, but not the people in Russia.
The company says that this is why Hochland currently is maintaining food production at the Russian sites. The firm has also a number of Ukrainians employed in various Hochland companies in Germany.
