New investments for Wiesehoff dairy shareholders

Germany dairy Sahnemolkerei H. Wiesehoff, part of the frischli Milchwerke group, has seen its shareholders invest in the production of ice cream mix and special cream for export.

Progress has already been made with a new 10-litre milk pouch system having been put into operation to expand production capacity.

As well as this, the first ice cream mix products are now rolling off the assembly line, which are in demand from customers in the classic ice cream catering sectors, among others, and thus open a new, attractive and demanding customer group for the company.

Apart from ice cream mix, UHT cream will also be produced in the future for other EU countries and for the South/East Asian region. The installation of the additional heating technology required for this is in the process of being implemented.

In the area of product preparation, there are also expansions on the investment programme of the parent company, frischli Milchwerke, for the Schöppingen site. The production of frozen yogurt and vegan chocolate ice cream mix for a large fast food chain is to be gradually expanded and will be relocated to the plant in Schöppingen. There are currently 150 employees working on the site.
