International Dairy Cooperatives Forum to welcome European commissioner for agriculture

This year’s edition of the International Dairy Cooperatives Forum will be held on 7-8 September in Białystok, Poland. This is the first opportunity for representatives of dairy sector to directly exchange views on the EU perspective of dairy, with the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski. The speech of the commissioner will concern issues related to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), including the approach of the member states to opportunities in strategic plans.

Other participants in the discussions will include ministers of agriculture from seven European Union countries. Their meetings will be dedicated to the dairy sector in the context of the challenges posed by the assumptions of the new CAP.
