Cathedral City to expand its Lighter range

Cathedral City, the UK cheese brand from Saputo Dairy UK, is extending its popular ‘Our Lighter’ range with the release of a Lighter Extra Mature 350g block.

The new release offers the taste of Cathedral City with 30% less fat than the brand’s standard Extra Mature Cheddar. Now available in Sainsbury’s and extending into Morrisons later in the year, Cathedral City’s Our Lighter Extra Mature is the ideal choice for consumers searching for a lighter, yet more mature taste profile of cheddar.

Cathedral City’s latest launch builds upon the success of the Cathedral City Our Lighter Mature range, which is the number one brand in Lighter Everyday Cheddar in the UK.

The launch is being supported by social media, online and in-store shopper marketing to grow product awareness amongst its target ‘healthy lifestyle’ audience and drive traffic to store.
