Glanbia’s CEO retires, new CEO named

The Glanbia plc board says Siobhán Talbot has notified it of her intention to retire from Glanbia plc following ten years as group managing director of the Company. Talbot will step down from her position and from the Glanbia Board on 31 December 2023 and will retire from the group in January 2024. Hugh McGuire, currently CEO of Glanbia Performance Nutrition (“GPN”), will be appointed CEO of Glanbia plc and join the Glanbia board as an executive director, effective 1 January 2024.

Siobhán Talbot, group managing director, Glanbia plc added: “I am very proud of how the organisation has evolved, grown and strengthened over this period.
