Express Dairies has introduced Shakey Jake, a new fresh, flavoured whole milk product available in strawberry, chocolate and banana flavours.
The milkshake is described as an all-natural product, with no artificial colours or preservatives. The flavours, meanwhile, come from the juice of real strawberries and bananas and milk chocolate. The drink is packaged in a 330ml sleeved bottle in the form of a Shakey Jake character, complete with jolly face, rotund body and a brightly coloured peaked hat that forms the bottle cap.
The product is listed by all the major multiples in the north of the UK, where a test run is taking place. It is also being distributed through corner shops, garage forecourts and sold on doorsteps by Express milkmen.
