Baumer launches new sensors

The new Baumer sensors range comprises the PP56H / PP56 a high precision pressure sensor with flush membrane and touchscreen, the PT55H / PT55 ultra-compact RTD temperature sensor with a wide measuring range and the PAC50H /PAC50S conductivity sensor with a fast response time.
For process applications that require precise pressure measurements across a range of different media, the PP56H and PP56 sensors offer a combination of precise and active temperature compensation. This means they are useful for hygienic and other similar industrial applications, such as hydrostatic level detection, pressure monitoring and measurement.
The PT55H and PT55 sensors have been developed for applications that require ultra-compact RTD temperature sensors with a large measuring range. These sensors feature the largest measuring range in their class (-50 to 250ºC) and when installed in parallel they provide fast response times. whether for process temperature monitoring in food plants, for cooling circuit control in machines or for temperature measurement in industrial water treatment plants.
Finally for conductivity sensing applications that would benefit from fast and precise media detection, the PAC50H and PAC50S sensors are used. The food-safety sensors feature an ultra-compact, one-piece hygienic design, with wetted parts made of PEEK. They have certification in accordance with all current food safety standards, for hygienic, pharmaceutical and other similar applications.
All three sensors in the 50 series feature the same sensor head along with an operating concept via touchscreen, which means the operation is the same for all three sensors, so simplifies configuration, integration and operation.
