DMK Group adds momentum in 2024 annual report

After 2023, the DMK Group is back on track and can look on a successful financial year in 2024, the company says. It performed strongly across all key figures and is back at a competitive level. The 2024 payout price of DMK eG averaged €0.4731 per kilogram of milk.

The DMK Group has achieved its goal of paying out at competitive levels again in 2024. In addition to effective measures – such as a value-adding expansion of the product range and the strengthening of the brand business, the adaptation of the plant structure and the implementation of important sustainability initiatives – team spirit played a particularly important role. “The fact that we have performed so successfully in 2024 and kept our promises in turbulent times is no coincidence. It is the result of hard work and a great team. I am extremely proud of this and delighted that we will continue to work on our vision for 2030 in the coming years, and thus on a sustainable and forward-looking dairy industry,” said Ingo Müller, CEO of the DMK Group.

In terms of the milk payout, as the most important target of the cooperatively organised DMK, the company achieved a very good result for 2024, considering the starting position: at 47.31 cents/kg (previous year: 41.1 cents/kg), DMK eG concluded the average payout price including surcharges for its cooperative farmers at a competitive level. In March 2025, DMK eG farmers receive 55.29 cents/kg of raw milk (including surcharge for animal husbandry form 3).

The revenue of Germany’s largest dairy cooperative is at €5.1 billion (previous year: €5.5 billion). The fact that DMK is well positioned overall is also reflected in the recently closed follow-up financing for a period of five years, thereby successfully securing the company’s core financing as an important milestone in its strategic orientation towards 2030, it concludes.
