Industrial lubricants manufacturer, Rocol has launched Ultimate Silicone Spray, a multi-purpose mould release and lubricant spray designed to enhance safety and productivity in demanding industrial environments. This newly developed product features 360-degree spray capability, an effective reach of up to 80cm, and is now NSF H1 certified for incidental food contact.

The spray has been produced to address challenges like large and awkwardly positioned moulds, including plastic and rubber moulding, all while reducing maintenance-related downtime. It has a quick-drying, residue-free formulation, which supports precise film coverage and minimises build-up, ensuring smoother operation over time, the company says. It responds to challenges particularly in the food packaging, injection moulding and automotive manufacturing industries. The spray is compatible with a wide range of industrial materials and surfaces and can operate effectively in extreme temperatures, from -50°C to +200°C. The colourless, wet-film release agent is also chemically inert, water and chemical resistant.

Phillip Clarkson, senior development chemist at Rocol says, “By combining advanced applicator technology with a high-performance, food-safe formulation, we’ve developed a product that meets the diverse needs of our global customer base. Our aim was to engineer a solution that supports both safety and performance in equal measure.

The product is now available worldwide, along with Rocol’s existing range of mould sprays.
