Müller in Lünebest buy in Germany

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller has confirmed the successful conclusion of a purchase agreement with Hochwald Foods for the acquisition of the trademark rights and products of the Elinas and Lünebest brands. The purchase includes the Lüneburg site with 150 employees. Local production will be maintained.

The proposed acquisition has already been submitted to the relevant competition authorities for review. Subject to the approval of the competition authorities, the acquisition will complement Theo Müller’s dairy product portfolio in an area where it has previously been represented in Germany primarily with private labels, the company says.
