Somic case packers at Ornua Foods

Ornua Foods in the UK have taken delivery of six multi-format case packers from Somic. The machines have now had their factory acceptance tests successfully completed. The packers will handle grated, sliced and portioned cheese, in multi-pack and case formats, delivering both flexibility and performance, the company says. The new 434 end-of-line packaging machine is engineered to cater for tray packaging, tray-cover or wraparound solutions, Somic notes.
