Ehrmann Cornish Dairy has has renamed Trewithen Dairy as Cornish Dairy Co, as of April 2026. This change is part of a strategy to enhance brand recognition and achieve continued national growth in the premium dairy sector, the company says. The new branding will be introduced in all channels, focusing on the Cornish heritage of the products.
The rebranding follows a visual update in 2024 and an acquisition by Ehrmann, after which Trewithen Dairy saw a sales increase of 11% in 2025. The shift to Cornish Dairy Co aims to make the brand identity clearer and more meaningful for consumers across the UK. Notably, consumer testing indicated a preference for the new branding, with over 60% of respondents favouring it over the previous Trewithen Dairy branding, the company says.
The debut of Cornish Dairy Co packaging, marketing and communications is starting in April 2026 with products expected to appear on shelves in the UK from 22 April 2026. Full product ranges will feature the new packaging and be supported by a marketing campaign to build awareness of the new brand identity. The company says that longstanding partnerships with local Cornish farmers will continue.
