From 7-9 June 2026, the Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers 2026 will take place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, bringing together all stakeholders from the dairy and cheese sector. At the same time, on 7-8 June 2026, Gourmet Selection 2026 will be held in Pavilion 7.2 at the same venue.

This simultaneous organisation will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore, in a single trip, two closely connected worlds: cheese and dairy products, and the universe of fine foods and premium gourmet products. The Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers badge will also grant access to Gourmet Selection, enabling a broader and more seamless visitor experience.

The simultaneous staging of the Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers and Gourmet Selection reflects a strong sectoral logic, bringing together two complementary worlds that contribute to shaping the gastronomic offering, the organiser, The Comexposium Group, says.

This configuration will encourage interaction between producers, cheese maturers, manufacturers, specialist distributors and professional organisations gathered in one location.

Moreover, consumer trends confirm the resilience and potential of the fine food market. According to the Xerfi study “La distribution d’épicerie fine à l’horizon 2026” (2024), 70% of French consumers still associate these products with special moments, while 61% consider nutritional balance and product quality essential. Finally, 90% favour French fine food products, illustrating a strong attachment to origin, craftsmanship and authenticity.

These indicators confirm the dynamism of the sector and the relevance of a closer link with the cheese industry, which is also positioned in high value-added segments.

The Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers will provide a comprehensive overview of the market, the organisers note, including French and international cheeses, dairy specialties, complementary products, equipment and materials, professional organisations and services.

The event will bring together 300 exhibitors from 15 countries, including 40% being international exhibitors. The simultaneous organisation of Gourmet Selection will extend this vision to the world of fine foods and gourmet products: honey, condiments, jams, crackers, speciality breads and wines.

This complementarity will provide a cross-sector perspective on the market and allow closer observation of consumption habits, product pairings and consumer expectations in terms of overall gastronomic experience.

For cheesemongers, specialist retailers and buyers in the hospitality and food service sectors, the proximity of the two shows will facilitate the creation of combined offerings, by pairing matured cheeses with fine food products, enriching cheese boards with dry or sweet specialties, or designing new in-store tasting experiences.

This approach will encourage additional sales and strengthen the perceived value of dairy products by integrating them into a broader gastronomic proposition.

In a context where professionals are increasingly optimising their travel, the simultaneity of the two events offers a clear advantage, with a single location and on closely aligned dates.

Gourmet Selection will also feature several highlights and events, including Best Of Gourmet Selection, La Meilleure Épicerie de France, L’Agora des Experts and L’Épicerie de Gourmet.

By bringing together, on the same dates and at the same venue, stakeholders from the cheese and dairy sector alongside those from the fine food industry, the two trade shows will offer a coherent and complementary platform to analyse the market, develop product offerings and strengthen commercial strategies, notes the organiser.
