The International Dairy Federation (FIL-IDF) and the New Zealand Organising Committee are inviting dairy professionals from around the world to join the IDF World Dairy Summit 2026, taking place in New Zealand from 15-20 November.
At a time when dairy sectors around the world face different realities, challenges and opportunities, the Summit provides a unique platform for learning from one another and identifying solutions that can strengthen dairy’s contribution to nutrition, economic development and sustainable food systems.
With a speaker roster now exceeding 100 international experts, the summit will bring together voices from across the global dairy value chain for six days of insight, dialogue, networking and collaboration. From sustainability and nutrition to animal health and welfare, trade, innovation, technology and future dairy systems, delegates will gain valuable perspectives on the issues shaping dairy’s future.
“Dairy is not in the same place everywhere in the world,” said Gilles Froment, president of the International Dairy Federation. “Each region faces its opportunities, priorities and challenges, but there is tremendous value in sharing experiences and learning from one another. Few events convene the full spectrum of stakeholders shaping the future of dairy, from farmers and processors to scientists, policymakers, regulators and international organisations. That is what makes the IDF World Dairy Summit such an important forum. Through knowledge exchange, dialogue on emerging issues and collaboration on practical solutions, we help shape a stronger, more resilient and more sustainable future for the global dairy sector.”
The programme combines world-class technical content with extensive opportunities to connect with peers from across the globe. Through plenary sessions, specialist forums, networking events and technical visits, participants will be able to build new relationships, share experiences and explore practical solutions that can be adapted to their own regions and businesses.
Dairy professionals from every part of the value chain are encouraged to register and join colleagues from around the world in New Zealand for what promises to be one of the most significant dairy events of the year.
