Shibuya Hoppmann, a manufacturer of aseptic and ESL filling and automation systems, offers its ESL & Dairy Filling System, a filling platform engineered for dairy, plant-based and extended shelf-life (ESL) beverage manufacturers seeking greater production flexibility, reliable microbiological control and consistent product quality. Designed to accommodate a broad range of products and packaging formats, the system supports peracetic acid (PAA) or hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) for bottle sterilisation and either pulsed light or ultraviolet (UV) light for cap or foil sterilisation.

The platform incorporates a unique multi-viscosity filling valve capable of accurately handling products with viscosities up to 1,000cps, as well as particulates up to 10mm. This enables manufacturers to process both low- and high-viscosity formulations on the same production line while preserving product quality and supporting seamless transitions between product types.

Designed for demanding, high-mix manufacturing environments, the ESL & Dairy Filling System supports continuous ultra-clean production environment for extended durations without requiring CIP/SIP interruption. The platform combines hygienic system design with efficient product handling to maximise uptime, minimise production interruptions and maintain ESL operating conditions throughout extended production runs.

The system also provides comprehensive production monitoring with 100% filling and capping data collection, giving manufacturers enhanced process visibility, traceability and quality assurance, the company says.
