High sales of FrieslandCampina products in Holland
Products from FrieslandCampina have established themselves as the most-sold single brand in Dutch retail outlets with a turnover of €408 million (£368m).
The brand includes pasteurised and UHT drinking milk, coffee cream, yogurts, dairy drink mixes and desserts, cream, butter and cheese as well as the best-selling Optimel probiotic drinking yogurt.
In an effort to keep the Campina brand right in front of the public eye over the last year there has been a variety of new introductions for Dutch consumers, including a range of new dairy puddings.
Campina also became the first dairy in the country to start marketing drinking milk in practical 2.4 litre plastic flagons.
The next FrieslandCampina brand name to get into the listing is the Mona range of dairy puddings aimed mainly at the children’s market. This label which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, made place 20 amongst favourite retailed foods in the Netherlands 2009.
