Supermarket labels gain majority share in milk sales

Supermarket labels have virtually taken over drinking milk sales in the Netherlands according to latest returns from the FoodService Instituut Nederland.

At least 70% of all drinking milk sold in the country this year is now marketed under private labels. The main supplier remains Campina Friesland with sales of its product on the home market last year totalling
