Austria’s fourth-largest dairy, the €154 million turnover Tirol Milch, has recruited one of Germany’s most experienced milk marketing experts Carl-Albrecht Benker as its new managing director.

Benker (pictured left) has been a respected business consultant for leading dairies over the last year. The 47-year-old has spent most of his working life with Muller Milch, where he has led marketing departments in the company’s headquarters in Bavaria.

He has also guided marketing operations in daughter firms such as Kƒ¤semeister, Molkerei Chemnitz and Sachsenmilch in Dresden. Benker will take up the post in August.
