Milk scandal firm declared bankrupt
The Chinese firm that sparked a nationwide tainted milk crisis that made around 300,000 children ill and killed six has been declared bankrupt.
A court in Shijiazhuang in the northern province of Hebei issued the bankruptcy order against Sanlu Group, according to New Zealand dairy co-operative Fonterra, which held a 43% stake in Sanlu
