Germany’s fourth largest processor, Hochwald, has reported an 11% increase in turnover for 2007. And 2008 looks set to be just as good, with managing director Dr Karl-Heinz Engel reporting that results so far this year are already 7% up on 2007.

The figures are buoyed by the company’s takeover of all Nordmilch canned milk and cream production in April this year
