UK dairy cooperative First Milk has appointed director Robert Shearlaw to the newly-created role of vice chairman, starting 1 June.

Shearlaw has been a First Milk director since 2003 and chairman Richard Greenhalgh notes that there have been requests for senior farmer input on the board.
