Wyke Farms, the UK’s largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, has announced plans to export the company’s award-winning farmhouse cheddar to the US.

The traditional, 100-year-old, family recipe produces a cheese unfamiliar to the average American consumer both in terms of flavour and appearance. However, feedback has been extremely positive and at the recent Fancy Food Fair in San Diego and a partnership was agreed with a US-based distributor to assist in bringing the cheddar to the US.
