New appointments at Robert Wiseman
Date: 28/05/2010
Robert Wiseman Dairies has made three new appointments following the resignation of chairman Alan Wiseman as a director. His resignation is effective from the company’s annual general meeting on 8 July 2010.
He will remain as an employee of the group to ensure he is available to provide a smooth transition for the management team in their new roles and to provide advice and support across a broad range of issues.
Chief executive Robert Wiseman (pictured centre) becomes full time executive chairman and group finance director Billy Keane (pictured left) has been promoted to take up the role of managing director. Gerry Sweeney (pictured right) becomes group finance director.
Robert Wiseman said: “We are ambitious for the future. We have fantastic and committed staff, the best dairies and distribution network in Britain and a track record for delivering great service to our customers.
“We are continuing to build state of the art capacity in our sector and we are determined to continue our growing share of the market by providing customers with a service that sets the benchmark for reliability, quality, efficiency and sustainability.
“It’s great to be able to draw on the experience that Billy and Gerry have, and I look forward to working with them in their new roles, supported by the excellent management team we have in place.”
