Dairy Crest increases price of milk for cheese

UK dairy processor Dairy Crest has announced a further milk price increase for suppliers on its Davidstow and Hartington cheese contracts.

From 1 October, the Davidstow price will increase by 3ppl and the Hartington price by 3.5ppl. This brings the cumulative increase since 1 July to 6ppl for Davidstow and 6.5ppl for Hartington. Following the October increases, the price paid for both manufacturing contracts will be the same.
