Amul becomes top Indian co-operative

The Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which owns and markets the Amul brand of products, has become the first billion-dollar co-operative in the country by registering a turnover of Rs 4,277.84 crore in fiscal year 2006-07.
