Singleton’s plans expand to US

Singleton’s, a cheese maker and wholesaler in Lancashire, UK is set to expand its operations further in the US via the opening of a sales office in 2013, according to a report in the Longridge & Ribble Valley News. The cheese company has also recently bought property adjacent to its current site in Longridge.

The purchase the land next to Singleton’s existing dairy has paved the way for future expansion, and plans for developing its export markets with another company are afoot. Sales for the company in areas such as India and the Far East have salso doubled, according to Singleton sales manager John Carr.
