Mulhern new COO at US Milk Producers Federation

Jim Mulhern has been added as the new chief operating officer for the US National Milk Producers Federation. The NMPF is a farm commodity organisation representing most of the dairy marketing cooperatives in the US. NMPF members market the majority of the milk produced in the US.

The new post starts in January and Mulhern will have oversight of the federation’s communications, government relations and membership functions. Mulhern previously worked with the dairy industry and also served as a chief of staff for a Wisconsin US senator in Washtingon DC. “Mulhen’s deep knowledge of both the dairy industry and Capitol Hill will greatly benefit National Milk,” Jerry Kozak, NMPF’s president and CEO says.
