Arla expansion in Middle East

Arla Foods is taking over sales and distribution of its products in Lebanon, Qatar and Kuwait.

The company has entered joint venture agreements with its three local partners which, until now, had the agency agreement for butter, cheese and cream in the three countries.

Arla is currently expanding its Saudi Arabia dairy in Riyadh, tripling production to 80-100,000 tonnes per year, within the next five years. The workforce in the region will double from 1,000 to 2,000.
