Hochwald sells sausage subsidiary

Milk is the focus for Hochwald Foods in Germany, so the company now has handed the over its subsidiary Hochwald Foods Meppen – which produces and distributes canned sausages – to the company Maximilian Tönnies.

The Hochwald group continues to focus on the processing and distribution of milk and dairy products. Chief financial officer Detlef Latka says, “The planned sale of the production and distribution of canned sausages is part of the 2020 strategy, which is to consistently focus on our core business segment milk.”
