FRANCE/RUSSIA – Lactalis has reinforced its commitment to the Russian states with the purchase of shares in Foodmaster.

Foodmaster produces and sells cheese, cream, kefir and yogurt in Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Moldavia. In total, it collects nearly 100 million litres of milk per year and manufactures 90,000 tonnes of in seven factories.

Lactalis already has operations in Russia and Ukraine and wants to further develop its President brand there.
