After ten years as CEO of Norweigan packaging supplier Elopak, Niels Petter Wright has announced that he will be resigning from the position.

Currently 98% of the company’s sales are in international markets. John Giverholt, chairman of Elopak AS says that Niels Petter has played a key role in developing Elopak from a NOK 5.5 billion (€588m) to 8.1bn (€866m) company.

Wright comments, “While there certainly have been some demanding years in an international business environment, it has above all been fun.

“I wish my colleagues a successful future. I hope they will succeed exporting our excellent products and the Elopak way of doing business to further markets.”

The board of directors has initiated the search for a new CEO, and Wright will continue as CEO during this transition period.
