GERMANY – Netherlands-based Friesland Coberco said on Tuesday that it is to sell its DrinkFit brand to German firm Klaus Weise.

Friesland Coberco acquired DrinkFit when it bought the dairy and drinks activities of Nutricia in late 2001. In June 2002, it said that it wanted to sell off DrinkFit as it did not fit in with its strategy of concentrating on core products.
