EUROPE – German dairy processors have seen sales of products in former Eastern Bloc countries soar this year.

In the first nine months of 2002 exports of products including milk drinks, butter and cheeses to Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the Baltic States were up a massive 34% on the same period last year.
