Tonne of cheese found under bridge

AUSTRIA – Police in Austria have found a tonne of rotting cheese under a bridge in the town of Egg.

The Bergkaese cheese was found after an anonymous tip-off. Police believe from the smell that it was dumped several months ago.

The origin of the cheese is a mystery, as no thefts of Bergkaese have been reported in Austria.
