Munchsters hope to swallow lunch market

UK – Ireland based dairy company Glanbia is rolling out its new Munchsters product across the north of England and Scotland today.

The product is Glanbia’s attempt to break into the children’s lunchbox market currently dominated by Dairylea’s Lunchables.

Munchsters are made of Cheddar cheese, savoury shells and strips of ham or chicken. They are packaged in a silver pod. Glanbia says that the product aims to appeal to children, while its nutritional values will appeal to parents.
