Kerry’s expansion continues
Food and dairy group Kerry has spent 94 million Euros purchasing four companies with a combined annual turnover of 60 million Euros.
In the USA, the company has bought Geneva Group and Hickory Specialities. Geneva manufactures savoury and sweet dairy ingredients for the foodservice and processing sectors. Hickory is a supplier of liquid smoke flavours to food processors.
In the UK, meanwhile, Kerry has acquired the sauces and flavoured butters divisions of Voyager Foods. In Brazil, the company has bought Siber, a supplier of ingredients to the ice cream and bakery markets.
Kerry has spent a total of 600 million Euros on acquisitions this year, including the 240 million Euros purchase of Golden Vale.
